TRIBUTE

Dear Geo-colleagues,
I applaud each and every one of you for the effort resulting in ECHO, the Society Of Petroleum Engineers Suez University Student Chapter Magazine. It’s is a very handsome publication that conveys sound technical papers and other useful information. I very highly appreciate your innovation and hard work. You exemplify the intellectual energy that is coupled with concern for the future. Scientific innovation os a prerequisite for economic development. I think of each one of you as a leader to hold the banner for others to follow. It’s unfortunate that I can not be physically present with you during your meetings. But, I assure you that I will be with you in spirit, as I greatly value your efforts and the proceedings of your work. I wish you all much success, and again, applaud you as path setters for the new generation of Egyptian professionals. God Bless you all !

It’s a great outreach effort for both the university community and your alumni. It’s also an indication of persistent students who are mindful of their career goals and have wide aspirations and potentials. I wish you all ultimate success!

I am impressed by the activity levels and commitment to volunteerism. The Outstanding Student Chapter Award doesn’t come about without both great student leadership and a high level of activity. The important thing isn’t my expectations for SPE Suez---it is your expectations. ‘‘Will you maintain high lev-els of activity’’ generate creative things to do that span the technical, social, and service areas? I think it is important that SPE is relevant and useful to the members.
